Remedy is set to update its original version of Alan Wake on PC, removing David’s Bowie’s Space Oddity from the credits in the process.
This, the developer has said, is due to “changes in licensing”. Once this update goes live, players will instead be met with an original song by Petri Alanko, known as Strange Moons.
Alanko has also composed music for a number of Remedy’s other games, including Alan Wake 2 and Control.

Flaming Fowl Studios – the developer that announced then shelved a game on the same day back in April amid financial difficulties – has unveiled its latest project, a comedic sci-fi auto battler called Konfronto that’s due to release on PC later this year.

Flaming Fowl, which was founded in 2016 by former members of original Fable developer Lionhead Studios, first made a name for itself with the release of card battle Fable Fortune, but it’s perhaps known for its acclaimed digital adaptation of popular board game Gloomhaven.

Heroes of Might & Magic, Ubisoft’s long-running turn-based strategy series, is returning for an eighth mainline instalment in 2025, just in time to celebrate the series’ 30th anniversary.

Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era – which will be the first new core series entry in nearly a decade – serves as a prequel to the entire fantasy saga, exploring its origins across a non-linear campaign as players journey to Jadame, a “mysterious continent in turmoil” that’s been mentioned but never explored in previous games.
