Don't Nod bets on Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, as multiple projects fail to meet expectations

Don’t Nod has high hopes for Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, after Jusant and Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden failed to reach company expectations.
In a new financial report, the French developer and publisher said it will now “partially write down, in the amount of €24m, the assets of Jusant and Banishers: Ghost of New Eden, given the inability to demonstrate future cash flows commensurate with the value of these assets”.
It will also turn its attention to games currently in production, such as Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, which the Don’t Nod said “received a particularly positive reception” after being played by press at Gamescom.

Sony has updated yesterday’s blog post on the forthcoming Welcome Hub to remove an image of a PS VR2 charging icon that caused speculation of a possible wireless model.
The Welcome Hub allows users to customise their own tab with various widgets, including the battery charge of accessories. However, the image used in the blog post included a controller, earbuds, and what looks like a PS VR2 headset.
But the PS VR2 is wired and doesn’t require a battery charge. So why was this icon included?

Final Fantasy 16 producer asks fans to please not make "offensive" or "inappropriate" PC mods

Final Fantasy 16 producer Naoki Yoshida has asked fans to not mod “anything offensive or inappropriate” into the PC release of the game.
Speaking to PC Gamer, Final Fantasy 16 director Hiroshi Takai was asked about goofy mods he’d like to see in the game, but Yoshida stepped in to answer instead. And it’s clear he’s protective of the team’s work.
“If we said ‘It’d be great if someone made xyz’, it might come across as a request, so I’ll avoid mentioning any specifics here!” he said. “The only thing I will say is that we definitely don’t want to say anything offensive or inappropriate, so please don’t make or install anything like that.”
