Star Citizen's free to play for a week

Star Citizen’s Foundation Festival is now live, and anyone curious about the game can jump on and try it for free from 12-19th July.
Developer Cloud Imperium says the festival – described as “a civic program in-lore aimed at strengthening community spirit” – is introducing an expanded “new player experience” that’s available for new and returning players, “as well as a Guide System to connect veteran pilots with newcomers to aid them on their space-faring journey”.

Hitman 3's dual-wielding Meta Quest 3 VR release date locked and loaded

Those looking forward to popping off a few unsuspecting targets as Agent 47 in Hitman 3 VR: Reloaded don’t have too much longer to wait.
Today, virtual reality game development studio XR games announced the game is set to make its debut on Meta Quest 3 on 5th September. That’s just one week from today!
“It’s finally time for players to play an untethered Hitman experience,” said Bobby Thandi, founder and CEO of XR Games. “Not long to wait now!”

Final Fantasy 16 briefly appears on PlayStation Plus, fuelling expectation it'll join officially soon

Last night, Final Fantasy 16 appeared as part of Sony’s PS Plus subscription, but has since been removed.

Images of the game’s store listing were shared on social media, indicating its availability as part of the PS Plus game catalogue.

All references to PS Plus have since been removed, suggesting this was simply an error. However, it’s got fans speculating an official inclusion could be on the way.
